4/1/2022 – MetalWorks adds non-ferrous experience with the onboarding of Allen Arndt as Senior Buyer. Allen has over 22 years in the aluminum industry, with the majority of that time spent in the scrap purchasing realm. Arndt comes to MetalWorks from Kaiser Aluminum. Prior to that, he spent time both at Nichols Aluminum and Alcoa. “I’m extremely thrilled Allen has decided to join our team. His experience, industry knowledge, and relationships with suppliers will no doubt have an immediate impact,“ President Jason Wagner said.

3/28/2022 – MetalWorks hires Phillip Ball as Controller. Phillip comes to MetalWorks from Cannelton Utilities, where he served as General Manager since 2003. Ball also served in other various roles for the City of Cannelton during his tenure, such as Building Inspector, Zoning Administrator, and Bookkeeper for the Sewer Department. “Growing up in Cannelton, I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Phillip for quite some time. His character, experience, and trustworthiness will serve us well in this role and I’m very excited to have him on our team,” said President Jason Wagner.

10/22/2021 - MetalWorks Recycle-Reload announces expansion to its Bowling Green, Kentucky facility. “We are extremely excited to get this expansion project underway to accommodate the growth in volume we’ve witnessed over the past six months, and the continued growth we anticipate in 2022 and beyond. We’ve gradually added resources and equipment over the past couple quarters, and have made some internal promotions to position ourselves nicely as we move towards the future”, said President Jason Wagner. The expansion project is expected to be completed towards the end of Q1, 2022.

5/26/2021 - MetalWorks Recycle-Reload, a privately owned company in the non-ferrous recycling industry, announces Jason Wagner has joined the company as President, effective May 1, 2021. Current President David Bradford will step back from the day-to-day management of MetalWorks, but remains as Owner.

"We're very excited to have Jason on board and look forward to his leadership and taking MetalWorks to the next level," Bradford stated.

Wagner comes to MetalWorks from Alcoa, most recently serving as North American Sales Manager for Slab and Billet. His career has included work in the automotive industry (Toyota), as well as 10+ years of progressive growth in the aluminum industry (both with Aleris and Alcoa). "I'm very humbled and grateful for the opportunity David has given me. We both share a vision of tremendous growth for MetalWorks, especially as recyclability and sustainability continue to be critical components for our customers and our environment."
